Yo Gotti – 5 Star Chick Remix (Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane, Trina) [Video]

January 25th, 2010

The Yo Gotti 5 Star Chick Remix has become one of the hottest tracks in the rap industry. As soon as various versions of 5 Star Bitch were released, many people kept requesting it on their radio stations. This track was recorded to be featured on Yo Gotti’s albumLive From The Kitchen” which had a 2010 release date. The original version of this song was hot, but when Gotti lined up the perfect collaborations, it got even better. He got the beautiful Nicki Minaj, Trina, and his long time comrade Gucci Mane and they made another instant classic track (following up Gucci Mane and Yo Gotti Bricks) and a video to go along with it.

Unreleased Remix vs. Official Remix

What you may not know is that there was a verse contributed by Lil Boosie and it was featured on the unreleased 5 Star Remix. In case you were wondering, that version did not have Nicki Minaj, but it did have the same verses from everybody else. They wanted to balance the track out as well as possible and come up with a dope video for it. Since its release in 2009, the video has gone on to get nearly 7 million plays alone on YouTube – which is crazy for it being relatively new. The first verse on the remix is contributed by Gucci Mane and he absolutely kills it.

Yo Gotti on the Chorus

The chorus done by Yo Gotti was off the chain and it pushed the track to be one of the best in the game today. The chorus repeats, “That’s a 5 star chick, man that’s a five star chick, if your credit score high, feet and nails stay fly, keep ya juice box wet, I want a five star chick, I need a 5 star chick, I need a 5 star chick, I want a five star chick. After Gotti’s verse, Trina hops on the track and the self-proclaimed baddest bitch drops a hot verse.

Yo Gotti – Bricks (Gucci Mane, Yung Ralph, Zaytoven)

January 25th, 2010

A lot of fans dig the Yo Gotti Bricks song that he did with Gucci Mane and Yung Ralph. This was not Gotti’s track, but Gucci reached out and they collaborated once again to make another classic. It seems as though whenever these two get together, some more heat is created. Not only does the street family of each artist respect the other, but these artists have a bond that most do not have. It’s always good to see two top notch hip hop musicians working together to make hits instead of beefing. Yung Ralph is a real dude and he also joined the two on the track to make one heck of a banger.

Bricks All White Bricks Light Tan Bricks

This song became so popular that a remix was even created that featured Fabolous, Shawty Lo, OJ Da Juiceman, and 8 Ball & MJG (two artists that are also from Memphis). If you listen closely and understand what is being referenced in this song, then you’ll realize how real the track is for the artists. A lot of people in the game make up lies in order to change their image to be more favorable with the mainstream crowd. If you know anything about the way the rap culture works, then you would know that people respect others that are real and true to themselves.

Why This Is A Classic

You cannot possibly get respect by making a classic song like Bricks by Yo Gotti, Gucci Mane, and Yung Ralph if you are not being real. The artist that made this track were a perfect fit for it and that’s the reason it became such a hood classic. In case you do not know, the song was produced by Zaytoven, who is considered one of the hottest modern day producers of the south. This producer does a lot of tracks for Gucci, but he has linked up with Gotti as well – real recognize real.

There is even a music video that goes along with this banger of a track which can be found on some Yo Gotti mixtapes as well as Gucci Mane’s “The State vs. Radric Davis” album. The video can be watched above and features Nicki Minaj. There are plenty of guests in this dope video including Waka Flocka Flame who is signed with Gucci’s So Icey Entertainment label. The lyrics on this are impeccable and the chorus could not have been done any better. Yo Gotti spits the third verse with some crazy lines like “I got that Slim Shady, call it 8 Mile.” Give it a good listen and see what’s good.

Yo Gotti – Pure Cocaine (Gucci Mane & Young Cash)

January 25th, 2010

The Yo Gotti Pure Cocaine song features Gucci Mane and Young Cash and it is a street classic. The chorus is soothing and it has two of the realest rappers to ever rhyme on the track. If you haven’t heard this track, then you are really slacking. It was featured on the Cocaine Muzik album. Some people may be confused because this project was originally released as a mixtape, but people liked it so much that Gotti made the business decision to make it an album. You can purchase a hard copy online or from a digital retailer. This song is absolute fire and there are many attributes that make it so hot.

Destined To Be A Hit

Anytime that two of the best rappers or trappers from the south get together and make a track, you know that it’s going to have that classic sound. With the song “Pure Cocaine,” that classic sound was brought to the streets and it became an instant sensation. Both are respected highly for their realness and have a lot of street credit in their states because of it.

Gotti and Gucci Are Real Rappers

Gucci Mane is from Atlanta Georgia, and Yo Gotti is from North Memphis Tennessee. Each artist lived the street life and knows what it takes to go from nothing to something. If you have this tape, then you know there are a few drops or shout outs on the tracks from DJ Smallz. He does not shout out during important parts of the song so you can enjoy the entire thing without having to worry. What is to be said about Young Cash on this track other than the fact that he does an impeccable job at laying down a smash hit of a chorus.

Entire Concept Is Hot

This track fits in perfectly with the overall concept of the project that it is featured on. You should definitely take the time to give it a thorough listen through your headphones to see whether you are down with the movement. It is point blank one of the hottest and realest tracks that you will ever hear in the rap industry. The other tracks on this project are all hot, but this one is clearly a standout. On any playlist you make with Pure Cocaine by Yo Gotti, people are going to dig it to the maximum.
